Stiletto Ambassadors Private Lotus Shoe Lunch

The Noel Shoe Museum welcomed its Stiletto Ambassadors for a delicious luncheon in the private dining room at Hutong. Over lunch, Dr. Luca Lo Sicco, the museum’s Director of Education, led a fascinating conversation on lotus shoes, foot binding, and women’s culture from the Song Dynasty (10th century) through the Qing Dynasty (20th century). Guests also enjoyed a curated selection of exquisite lotus shoes from the museum’s permanent collection.
