The exhibition “Steps of Identity, Power, and Creativity” explores the shoe as a powerful symbol of identity, power and creativity, through the lens of Vanessa Noel, shoe designer and founder of the Noel Shoe Museum. The exhibition presents a selection of her most iconic creations alongside historic and iconic pieces from her collection, tracing a path that unites craftsmanship, fashion, and art. Each section explores how the shoe, over the centuries, has embodied social roles, technological innovations, desires, and historical moments, becoming an object of universal culture and style.
