Stiletto Ambassadors Afternoon of History & Remembrance
Period: June 18 2025 / Location: Center for Jewish History, New York City
The Noel Shoe Museum welcomed its Stiletto Ambassadors for a special viewing of Anne Frank: The Exhibition at the Center for Jewish History – a first-of-its-kind, full-scale recreation of the Secret Annex where Anne Frank lived in Amsterdam when her family was forced into hiding, furnished with original objects never before seen in the United States. Following the tour, guests gathered for a private kosher tea honoring Holocaust survivor Zahava Ungar, who shared her powerful story of surviving Auschwitz and presented a pair of her shoes to the museum’s Icon Collection. Deeply moved by both the exhibition and Zahava’s testimony, attendees were reminded of her enduring message: We have to be so careful not to build hatred.
