The Noel Shoe Museum opened the floor above founder Vanessa Noel’s luxury shoe salon for an exclusive preview of its debut pop-up exhibition, The First Step. This private event exclusively for the museum’s earliest supporters, the Stiletto Ambassadors, offered a compelling journey through the evolution of footwear – starting with the museum’s oldest pair, 10th-century Incan sandals, and extending all the way to present-day innovations. Guests were captivated by how the exhibition wove together anthropology, art, and design through footwear history. After the preview, guests followed the red footsteps on the sidewalk from the exhibition down the street and around the corner to enjoy a delicious lunch at Barbaresco.
